Hello

Dear Pilots
A belated Happy New Year to you all!
A quick reminder that Registration for the 2014 Ozone Chabre Open will open on 8th February at 18.00 GMT or 19.00 CET or some unearthly hour if you live in Australia. Registration can only be made on line at : http://www.flylaragne.com/ and pilot numbers are limited to 120 pilots.
To guarantee your place you can pay by Paypal immediately after you have registered. Once we have 120 paid pilots, unpaid registered pilots will be added to the waiting list and will be asked to confirm interest and pay when a place becomes available.
The entry fee is 230 euros (210 Euros for those flying Ozone wings). Entry includes Meet and Safety Directors, Jocky Sanderson and David Owen, T-shirt, a full transport and retrieve service every competition day (28th June to 4th July), briefings and de-briefings by Jocky, aided and abetted by some of those pilots who got to goal, evening talks on a variety of flying topics, the famous Pizza-Paella night at Ribiers, with dancing to a local band, and the famous Ozone end-of-competition party, raffle and prizegiving. And we have even more prizes than before, thanks to our sponsors, Ozone and Cross Country (XC) Magazine.
With Jocky's take-off briefings, post-flight debriefings and talks this is an incredible learning experience which is as good as an XC course for a fraction of the price! DON'T MISS IT.
Please note we will NOT be accepting the latest PWC-level hot EN D wings - even in the X Class - even if it's an ENZO! Our ethos is for a stress-free, fun and friendly competition for intermediate pilots .
For those looking to give themselves a competitive advantage, consider signing up for the 'pre-comp' week from 21st to 27th June. Familiarise yourself with the area, flying with locally experienced pilots who really know their way around, transport and B&B in a luxury Gite included. Fun & flying guaranteed! For more information go to:

or contact Rachael & David direct at;

There will also be a XC course run by Chris White/Jocky Sanderson the week after the competition, from 5th to 11th July. Accommodation will be based at Allez-Up. For further details check out the website at http://www.jockysanderson.com
Looking forward to seeing you in Laragne in June
